Is the Megaladon alive?

Is the Megalodon alive today?

After watching the movie, 'the meg', I was starting to wonder if it was actually real or not. I've heard of people talking about sighting of the 'biggest shark ever'. So, after doing some research, I learned that the Megaladon lived in the dinosaur age and some people HAVE seen it today.

What is the Megaladon?

The Megaladon has a length up to 60 feet long. It was meant to be the largest shark out there and the biggest animal in the sea. People said they saw blue whale cut straight in half and with huge teeth marks in it. The blue whale was meant to be the biggest animal in the sea. 

What is my evidence that it's real?

Well there have been documentaries of seeing it on a tape. There was one video that I saw with some people on a boat, and then a HUGE fin just sank there whole ship and their camera came on shore, and scientist looked at it and saw that the fin had the same markings as a megaladon, and no other animal has that. Over time I kept looking and saw whales in half, washed up boats and other things no other animal could have done. 

What was the purpose of the movie, 'the meg'

I believe that what the director was trying to do was to show that the world that megaladon's are actually real. What they were trying to prove was that we should be on the look out and keep our eyes open fr megaladons. They are really dangerous

I'm not trying to put a bad name on them or anything. Oh and I'm NOT suggesting to go out and hunt them or anything. We should get to research how they are still alive and how they live deep under water.
