Is the Megaladon alive?

Is the Megalodon alive today?

After watching the movie, 'the meg', I was starting to wonder if it was actually real or not. I've heard of people talking about sighting of the 'biggest shark ever'. So, after doing some research, I learned that the Megaladon lived in the dinosaur age and some people HAVE seen it today.

What is the Megaladon?

The Megaladon has a length up to 60 feet long. It was meant to be the largest shark out there and the biggest animal in the sea. People said they saw blue whale cut straight in half and with huge teeth marks in it. The blue whale was meant to be the biggest animal in the sea.

What is my evidence that it's real?

Well there have been documentaries of seeing it on a tape. There was one video that I saw with some people on a boat, and then a HUGE fin just sank there whole ship and their camera came on shore, and scientist looked at it and saw that the fin had the same markings as a megaladon, and no other animal has that. Over time I kept looking and saw whales in half, washed up boats and other things no other animal could have done.

What was the purpose of the movie, 'the meg'

I believe that what the director was trying to do was to show that the world that megaladon's are actually real. What they were trying to prove was that we should be on the look out and keep our eyes open fr megaladons. They are really dangerous

I'm not trying to put a bad name on them or anything. Oh and I'm NOT suggesting to go out and hunt them or anything. We should get to research how they are still alive and how they live deep under water.

Weekly Endangered Animal Report

Malayan Tiger

Today, I have decided to do a special report on the Malayan tiger to honor where I live, Malaysia.
To be accurate the Malayan tiger actually lives on the southern tip of Thailand and in the Malay peninsula.  There are about 250-340 tigers left in the wild. The scientific name for the Malayan Tiger is Panthera tigris jacksoni to honor Peter Jackson, the famous tiger conservationist. The weight of the tiger is roughly 220-264 pounds. They mostly live in the tropical areas.

The Amur Leopard

πŸ˜…Sorry I haven't wrote in  a while I am pretty busy and I may have to bend the 'I will do report every week' thing. But lets get on tho the facts...

People usually think of leopards in the savannas of Africa but in the Russian Far East, a rare subspecies has adapted to life in the temperate forests. Similar to other leopards, the Amur leopard can run at speeds of up to 37 miles per hour. This incredible animal has been reported to leap more than 19 feet horizontally and up to 10 feet vertically. They live for 10-15 years, and in captivity up to 20 years. The Amur leopard is also known as the Far East leopard, the Manchurian leopard or the Korean leopard. The Amur leopard is poached largely for its beautiful, spotted fur. In 1999, an undercover investigation team recovered a female and a male Amur leopard skin, which were being sold for $500 and $1,000 in the village of Barabash, not far from the Kedrovaya Pad reserve in Russia. Agriculture and villages surround the forests where the leopards live. As a result the forests are relatively accessible, making poaching a problem—not only for the leopards themselves, but also for important prey species, such as roe deer, sika deer and hare, which are hunted by the villagers for food.Only 84 individuals are thought to exist.

This information was found in the wwf website.

The world's last male northern white rhino is dead. 😭

One of the most endangered spices in the world, the white rhino. Last week, the last male white rhino died in Africa. Thankfully it wasn't murder. But the effort to save the subspecies from extinction lives on.
For nearly a decade, Sudan lived in a 700-acre enclosure at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, against the backdrop of the hulking Mount Kenya.
Armed guards protected him 24 hours a day because he belonged to a subspecies on the verge of extinction from poachers. Rhinos are targeted by poachers fueled by the belief in Asia that the horns cure various ailments.
The need to preserve the northern white rhino is dire -- there are no known animals left in the wild.
Old and frail
At 45, Sudan was elderly in rhino years. His daughter Najin, 28, and granddaughter, Fatu, 17, are considered spring chickens.
The elderly rhino was fraught with problems normally associated with age. During his final years, he was not able to naturally mount a female and suffered from a low sperm count, which made his ability to procreate difficult.
Najin could conceive, but her hind legs are so weak, she may be unable to support a mounted male.
"There has been recorded mating between different pairs over the last few years, but not conceptions," George Paul, the deputy veterinarian at the conservancy, said.
